She’s been through more change than a chameleon crawling through a costume ball, knows about Getting Happier - and is smart, funny, and personable. Foster Parent Course
Developed for Sidran by Pat Wilcox LCSW of Klingberg Family Center and Elizabeth Power M.Ed of EPower & Associates — Sidran’s two authorized providers, this Foster Parent course is six sessions averaging 90 minutes each (that’s about two days, and can be scheduled over the course of several days). Foster parents want to be there for the children and youth they serve—and this course helps them increase the tools in their toolkit, recognize their needs for self-care, and work with their childrens’ behavior from an eye-opening perspective. Really helps reduce the trauma of being a foster parent and can make a powerful; difference for children. Contact us today for more information.
